Frosted Glass not working correctly

I have the sun coming through frosted glass with plants on the other side, yet the shadow is coming through as if it were standard glass. From my understanding frosted glass should give a diffuse effect and cast very blurry shadows.

Hello,what about the rendering? there is often a difference between the preview and the final rendering. Logically everything should be fine with Stager.
In my opinion I would rather make a high quality rendering and see if everything is correct, otherwise we will regrade the settings.
Can you also tell us what computer and system you are working on?
