GPU support for Mac? why is this long standing issue being ignored?

GPU support on Mac has been there for a while, but GPU ray-tracing requires NVidia RTX, not supported by Apple. They're definitely not ignoring the issue, but you have to admit it's been a moving target these last couple of years. It's not like Apple gives developers (or users) lots of advance warning when they're about to make a big change. You can be sure that the sitution is not being ignored.
