Hello good morning everyone !

Is there a way  to export your .png files from the animation tab at an exact dimension of 1920x1080 for 1080p video ?  I just exported a test png on a new project and I produced a weird size of 2602x1684, and last night I exported another project and the file were smaller than 1920 and I couldn't figure out how to change the size.  Thank you for help !

Hi @Animation Guy !

There is nothing wrong with using the viewport camera for renders. The output size for the viewport camera is affected by the size of the application window.

The camera object is great for creating consistent framing, adding backgrounds, and using depth of field. Here is a link to a Stager documentation guide that describes cameras in Stager.

Hi @Animation Guy!

While there isn’t a way to change the camera output size from the animation properties tab, there are two other ways to change it.

The first way is changing the output size of the camera.

  • Select the camera
  • Go to the object properties tab
  • Type in new camera size

The second way is using the override camera size while in render mode.

  • Go to export settings panel
  • Select the camera you want to render with
  • Toggle on override camera size
  • Type in new camera size
