Stager has automatic UV unwrapping, when you import any objects without UVs, or you can trigger it manually using the Object > Generate UVs menu.

We do not yet have the ability to split objects into multiple objects, but it is something we've discussed. I'll ask the team to revisit, should be easy, just a matter of finding some time.
