Stager 2024 release date

Hi everyone

Any news / rumors on when Adobe Stager 2024 software will be launched as its typically around this time.

Will the software be on Steam for download (perteculual licence) or purely on Adobe subscription?

Regarding Stager 2024 on Steam, here are our official announcement on Stager steam page.

Hi everyone, we have some important news to share today!

Stager will no longer be available for sale on Steam anymore as we are refocusing our steam offering on our 2 flagship apps: Substance 3D Painter and Substance 3D Designer.

As a show of gratitude for those of you who have purchased Stager during the past year, we will be extending the maintenance period, and you will keep receiving free updates all throughout 2024.

Your license will remain valid after the end of 2024 (even if no new updates will be released through Steam).

Thank you for your support and keep an eye out for new announcements around the Substance products in the coming months.

Hi Cyril,

The New Stager 3.1 looks good from what I have seen online and youtube tutorials but I do miss the times we could pay for a Perteculual licence via Stream.

Would Adobe be open to the idea of reverting back to offering Stager as a one off payment software instead of bundling it within other 3D softwares? Keeping my fingers and toes crossed in hope of hearing a positive response.

On Discord they told there will be a major release in a few months but at the same time they are working on changing the platform to make it more scalable with regards to performance. All good things come to those who wait 🙂

There was a recent bug-fix release. No word on a v3.0 or v2.2. The Substance apps don't use the same cadence as the CC apps. There's no Stager 2023, Painter 2023, etc.
