When/if cancelling a Render, Stager canvas goes black and I have to "force quit" the application...

Hey there. Soooo.. Quite frustrating so far trying to migrate from Dimension to Stager for me. If I cancel any render when I return to the stage it's black and I can't use or adjust the program anymore at all, I can't even "save" the project or even just quit the application. I then must bring up the "Force Quit Application" and force quit to close it, losing any unsaved changes. (I'm on a 2019 MacBook Pro with OS Big Sur).

There's another annoying bug I won't get too deeply into regarding black bars on models that are laying flat that never happens in dimension with the same models, forcing me to go back and use dimension again for odd projects.

While I'm complaining... being forced to take on the entire 3D suite cost (on top of my All Apps and stock subscription) seems a little crazy. Am I right in assuming Dimension will eventually be phased out since it's extremely similar? I personally believe this new 3D collection SHOULD be rolled into the All Apps subscription. It is after all called "ALL apps". We don't all work for larger agencies, I'm just an independent contractor trying to stay in business. Hopefully, Adobe will sort out their pricing/bundle tiers to give us more options that are realistic. I need about a half dozen of the All Apps programs and a couple of the 3D programs but not all of either. I'm starting to feel like I'm paying a second rent to Adobe.

Anyway, sorry for that rant. Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects are incredible. They have literally been the most valuable and powerful tools in my workflow for over a decade. I don't know what I'd have ever done without them. TUT the costs just to move to a couple of 3D programs in addition while there are such bugs?.. yeah... like I said, I love ya Adobe, but it's getting a little crazy. lol

Hi John!  Thanks for the feedback.

We're aware of the bug with canceling renders causing the app to hang and have a fix in place.  It will be available soon (December 13th we plan to release it with some other bug fixes).  Sincere apologies for the issue.

At this time there is no plan to phase out Dimension, but I can only speak to now.  😄 We try to be transparent as possible, but we don't know the future and can never make promises.  Dimension will continue to get support updates like we recently added M1 support!  I will pass your feedback regarding pricing and the desire for a more accessible price point entry to the business teams!

Thanks a lot for replying. That's GREAT news about the update coming! 🙂 And also, thanks for the great communication over the years. It's nice to have our questions and concerns addressed (especially by such a large company) and you've been great with us. It hasn't gone unnoticed and is very much appreciated.
