2019 Classic Generation Issue

When I click on an SSL to generate a Word doc, RoboHelp starts the geneation process, but doesn't complete. The typical 'Generating Printed Documentation' dialog appears, but then the 'Convert File' dialog pop-up window appears in the background with 'HTML Document' highlighted.

Once this 'Convert File' dialog box appears, RH just hangs and doesn't generate a Word doc.

Any advance on what's going on and how to fix this issue.

Perhaps check the macro security setting in Word. I feel like depending on the setting, that will either cause the generation to fail, or pop up a warning.

I had to click 'HTML Document' on the Convert File dialog box for RH to continue generating the Word doc. So, it looks like it's now working.

That's odd since I never had to do that before.

Are you all patched up? Check Help > Updates to check. Was this working before & now it's not? Have you tried one of the sample projects to see if it's behaving?

I'm on version 14.0.14 and it says, 'Your app is already up to date.'

What's a name of one of the sample projects?
