Adobe Robo Help 2019 search bar (searchbar-extra)

Hi, I have a question regarding the RoboHelp searchbar (ver. classic 2019),

It is possible in some way to restrict the search field to a single project (in case the main project has merged projects) or it is possible to merge the search results divided by project.

Finally, can anyone tell me if and how conditional expressions "refine search" work for this field.

Those you would have to try as they are designed for web browser searching rather than searching RoboHelp.

You cannot restrict the search in the way you describe but you ask "can anyone tell me if and how conditional expressions "refine search" work for this field. There are Ihink you are referring to Dynamic Content Filtering. There the user could select a filter that would limit the search to a specific project. You would apply a conditional tag to each topic in a project with different tags for each project, then set up DCF..

DCF can be set up for Classic versions but I only have instructions for the new UI version. For RoboHelp 2019 New UI, see RH2019 Dynamic ContentFiltering (grainge.org)  I think you'll get the idea from that.

thx for the reply...I'll try to manage the search with filters...regarding the "refine search" conditional expressions, I meant these:

Google Search Operators: The Complete List (44 Advanced Operators) (ahrefs.com)

i.e. the special characters that can be used within this field... are supported?

Have you checked in Peter's site - grainge.org - for help on merged projects, search, and dynamic content filters?
