    Try without that field ticked.

Thanks Peter, tick off the timestamp does allow me to create the output.

and I am able to install it to my own computer, and I see the comments pod. I entered the comments and saved.

then I look into file folder and find the air comments, now there is a xml file created. the comments appears like:

    <comment>my%20first%20successful%20comment-Frances</comment>

and then I write into the second comments, and open this xml file again. it doesn't seem the second comments added, but the commentId does increase to 2.

    my question is:

    1. is this the only place and right form that holds the comments? right now Network folder is set up as c:\....

    2. can I chose any other real Network folder to hold the comments? if so, do I just create one like \\MyFileServer\RoboHelp9\AIR_Comments

When you create a comment it is stored in within your profile. When you click Send/Receive they are sent to the XML file in the shared location.

You say the count has increased but the comment is not showing. I don't see how but without the full content of the file it is difficult to see what is wrong.

The path can be any network location where all users have read/write permissions.
