Any problems using Clearcase and RoboHelp HTML.

I have been using RoboHelp HTML X5 and Visual SourveSafe (VSS) 6.0 so far without any problems. But due to VSS database problems, I would like to start using Clearcase 6.x. I tried using Clearcase 7 but RoboHelp HTML X5 does not work at all! Thus, I want to know if anyone has any experience using RoboHelp HTML X5 and Clearcase (CC) 6.x....good or bad.

On a general note, is there a known fact that RoboHelp HTML X5 works better with VSS rather than with CC?

    Hmm, just curious - what problem did you have with CC7 / RH?

    As a "work-around" you could ZIP the entire project source files into one or more files and load into CC, then check in/out as a compressed files.

    Need more info about what you want to do with files / ClearCase / RH.

    Note that CC can not merge binary files (images, PDF, etc.). Not sure about what happens when trying to over write a binary stored in CC...I'll have to try later in the week.

    I want to use CC for version control. Just plain and simple "check-in" and "check-out". I do not plan to merge or do anything fancy with it.
