Question

Bad link - where is "Using FrameMaker with RoboHelp"?

There appears to be a missing "Using FrameMaker with RoboHelp" chapter in the RoboHelp documentation (2015 release). Does anyone know where this is?

The chapter is missing from both:

  • Help file for Adobe RoboHelp (2015 release) - Under Projects >> Importing FrameMaker documents, after the first paragraph is a note:

note:  If you are using Adobe Technical Communication Suite, you can link FrameMaker documents to your RoboHelp projects. For more information, see Using FrameMakerwith RoboHelp.

  • PDF file for Using Adobe RoboHelp (2015 release) - On page 87, under heading Importing FrameMaker documents, after the first paragraph is a note:

NOTE: If you are using Adobe Technical Communication Suite, you can link FrameMaker documents

to your RoboHelp projects. For more information, see Using FrameMakerwith RoboHelp.

There is no link in the help file. The link in the PDF appears to be dead (or just references the same page).

Is this chapter supposed to be a separate standalone document?

Check the online version – they may have missed updating that link there too.

Hi Jeff,

When I say "Help file," I am referring to the online version.

As asked, where is the document? Is it supposed to be a separate document, or is it essentially a missing chapter that failed to compile?

Thanks

Sorry, thought you were referring to the off-line PDF – all I could find was to go back to RH10 and extrapolate to this link for TCS4 - http://help.adobe.com/en_US/TechComSuite/4.0/Using/WS1b49059a33f77726-31aee1b1342288940d-8000.html
