Betreff: Introducing Adobe RoboHelp (2020 release) Update 6

Nice update! But: Converting projects from RH 2020.5 doesn't work?!
Tried with our larger projects and with a mini test project as well - hangs on opening with "Reading files..." forever. What could be difficult or wrong?

    I have separated your post as using the same logic would result in all Update 6 issues being linked to the announcement. 🙂

     

    I have updated quite a number of projects from 5 to 6 and not encountered that so given it is happening with a small project as well, it looks like the installation has gone wrong.

     

    Can you create projects in 6 and if you can, can they then be reopened?

     

    Are the projects local and out of source control?

     

    Is it the same with the About RoboHelp sample project?

     

    If none of that helps, I think my inclination would be to uninstall RoboHelp and install Update 6 again. It is a full build so you don't need any prior builds first.
