Can't get thumbnails to work when page is outside of frame in RH 2019

I am using Robohelp 2019, and the thumbnail feature works great as long as the topic page is still inside of the frame. If I right-click a topic and open it in a new window, the thumbnails no longer work. 

Is there a setting I need to check somewhere?

The images ARE checked for "Use Thumbnail" and my Output Presets have "Create thumbnail for images" checked as well.

    I don't know for sure but I wouldn't expect it to work in that scenario. The new window is sort of disconnected from the scripts that make the thumbnails work. Maybe check with techcomm@adobe.com?
