Can't Open .xpj File in RoboHelp 2020/2022

Hi everyone,

I have a project that was originally created in Adobe RoboHelp 2019, and I found the ".xpj" file in the existing project. However, I’m unable to open this file with RoboHelp 2020 or 2022.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or know how to open or migrate the project to these newer versions? Any guidance on compatibility or steps to take would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help!

In particular, take a look at this topic. https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/introduction/upgrading.htm

XPJ indicates the Classic version of 2019. To open in the new version you have to use the Upgrade rather than File Open.

Your classic project will remain as it is and a new project will be created for the new UI version. It is very different so see how to use it on my site. It will take a while to get used to it but once you do, then suddenly it seems a lot easier to use.
