Cannot add any special characters to TOC names

Good afternoon!

I am using Robohelp 2022 and I am unable to place an apostrophe on TOC titles. How can I do this without it automatically changing to an underscore? I have attached an image for where I am trying to place an apostrophe. Not sure what I am missing.

Thanks in advance,

Danny

If you mean the very first entry "Technicians_Reference" you can't because it's the toc file name, not a toc entry.  It doesn't appear in the output, if that's what you're worried about.

Because RH is primarily focused on web based output, special characters (everything except a-z, A-Z, 1-9, -, and _) are usually recommended against. Spaces are also problematic, so usually the first thing I do is turn on a Preference setting to prevent spaces in file names. 🙂

    Thank you for the reply.

You are 100% correct, I was trying to rename something that doesn't appear in the output.
