Question

Cannot import FM11 conditional text tags into (linked) RH10 files

The tags and the tagged text are displayed clearly inside FM but when I link those files to the RH project all tags are stripped. No "content level" hashed text is displayed inside RH files. I've sent some of the FM files to Adobe Tech Support and they say the files work just fine on their end and RH successfully imports all the conditional tags. But it still fails to work on my Windows 7 platform. Adobe even suggested to change the name of a RH file in Registry from "10.00" to "10.00_old" but it still didn't help. I'm working on a deadline and would appreciate any ideas to get over this hurdle. Thanks.

Try doing a straight import into a new RH project (not linking)

Jeff, thanks for your response. That did not help but I discovered after some trial-and-error that the RH project itself was corrupted. When I created a blank RH10 project from scratch, the FM11 conditional-text tags started to import correctly. Regards, Ugur
