Captivate 8 for app developer

Hello,

I was so excited about the new Captivate 8 responsive projects for developing apps.  I have a Mac and I have Captivate 8.  Here is where I am at...and don't know what to do anymore.  STUCK!  I have all the certificates, the provisioning profiles required by apple.  I developed a "test" app.  When publishing, I signed in with my Adobe phone gap account.  Entered all my iOS information.  But then what?  Do I have to run it through xCode?  When I go in my phone gap account, I can see the app.  How do I package this to send it for approbation?  (I am absolutely NOT very familiar with this kind of development so please excuse my ignorance...
