ChatGPT for machine translation

has anyone ChatGPT for machine translation successfully in use?

    I don't think ChatGPT will work. If  you look at the Translation dialog, the Translation Provider must have an API.  In the dropdown RoboHelp has a number of options for organisations where there are known APIs plus a custom field. ChatGPT is not listed and I don't think it has an API with the details you would need.

    thanks for your quick reply.

    That's the idea, using RH`s built in translation feature, but instead of Google/Yandex/Microsoft/Deepl, I would like to use ChatGPT.

    Of course, the quality could be a risk. But I suppose it's no worse than the experience i had with an external translation agency (with provided XLIFF).

    There haven't been any reports of people using it for translation in RH, but other than dubious quality, I don't think there's any restriction on trying it with your content. Most people are using either a translation service or machine translation XLIFF files in RH.
