Chinese (Simplified) characters are garbled after compiling

Here is the icon we recommend for inserting screenshots. 

Regarding your images. Please save the individual images and use the Insert Photo icon that is at the top of the message box to add them to your post. This makes it easier to help.

(I will post a photo when I am not on my work computer - for some reason I can not upload an image from work)

Hopefully that will fix the toc, index and search.

However, I'm also not sure about your picture of the TOC tab as I've never seen that. If the above steps don't fix the TOC, can you post a screenshot of how your table of contents is set up in Robohelp?

Which output type are you generating? Can you add a screenshot of what you are seeing? Please use the Insert Photo icon so that the images are inline with the text, as it is easier to help when the images and text are visible at the same time.
