Conditional Build Tags cause RH9 AIRHelp crash

I have seen multiple posts about system crashes when using RoboHelp HTML and conditional build tags.  Is anyone having the same problem using build tags with RH9 and AIR Help output?  I have tried different combinations of build tags, a single build tag, as well as different project topics.  All cause RoboHelp 9 to crash when generating AIR Help.  Any suggestions?  Is this a reported bug?

    I'm sorry, but I don't remember a specific post. I always do a general search to make sure that I'm not posting an existing question.  If you search for "RH9 build tag" you should get a hit list that may help.

    I've successfully created locally-installed AIRHelp using build tags on entire topics without any problems. First, have you applied the RH9.0.1 patch? Second, what exactly is happening when you say "crash"? What sequence of events are you doing and does it happen if you try using one of the sample projects?

    The problem is not with AIR help or any other output and it is fixed in the 901 patch so there is no longer anything to report on that problem.

    If you have the patch applied, CBTs should be behaving in the Design Editor. Assuming they are, your problem is elsewhere.

    Does the project compile OK with other outputs?

    I am running 9.0.1.232.  The problem occurs when using build tags in both AIR Help and HTML Help. I get the message box "Adobe RoboHelp 9 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."  and the program exits. I recall having this problem in RH8 also and hoped that RH9 would remedy it.  I had no problems with the same project authored in RH7 using the AIR Help generator.

    And this occurs...when? Opening the project, adding topics, editing the ToC, generating, what?

    That's a Windows message - we'll need some more details about O/S & memory and any other programs running at the same time.

    Does it occur all the time? Does it happen when using the sample projects?
