Hi to all,

I would like to ask if there is a way to create a custom layout for a linked FrameMaker book from scratch, without customizing one of the ready layouts from gallery.

Kind Regards,
Sergiu

You can customise the supplied layouts but creating new ones has never been possible for webhelp. You can for responsive layouts but it requires seriously advanced CSS3 and HTML5 skills.

See www.grainge.org for free RoboHelp and Authoring information.

    Hey Peter,

Thank you for the response. Currently yes Robohelp does not has a feature to create a custom layout from scratch, but there is a workaround that seems to be convenient for the time. I figure out that you by creating a new layout and use one of the provided as a starting point for the Screen Layout (.slz) output, delete the contents and then work with new screen layout pages and baggage files for the required result. The CSS3 and HTML5 I hope will not be a big problem for the time.

    Kind Regards,
    Sergiu
