Creating field level help for a web based application

Hi

I'm creating a help system for a web based application using Robohelp 2020, the output will be Webhelp or responsive HTML, the management wants to have help on the level of the screen fileds, not only on the screen level. My question is: Is this possible for web based applications to have help on the field level? and if yes, how can this be achieved from within RoboHelp 2020?

Thanks a lot

    Mea culpa - I just forgot what it's called inside RH2020 🤦‍♂

To clarify the apparently conflicting answers, you create microcontent and generate that for the developers using the microhelp output.

To do CSH on a field level, I think you'd need to look at the new Microcontent output (maybe - you'll need to do some research into that).

It is a very time consuming way of going about providing help. At one time i had a merge of various projects so that we could do that and it required about 14,000 topics. We changed it to screen level and got it down to just a few thousand and users preferred it as they saw the information about each field along with the information on other fields in the screen. It puts it in context.

Now the best way to do it would be to provide your developers with microhelp. Microhelp Output (grainge.org)
