Custom table templates not showing up in templates list

I've made some custom templates by both writing my directly into CSS, and copying and editing styles that already exist, and I can't see any of them in the Template list under table options. Is that a bug or expected? Right now the only way to assign those table templates is to go into the HTML and add the class myself, which gets old after a bit.

It's expected but I have suggested that users can add their home brew to the dialog.

You don't need to go into the HTML although that is one way. You can als add a table from the toolbar and then apply your table style from the Styles panel on the right.

Which version of Robohelp are you using? If RH2019 please include if you are using Classic or New UI. Please include the full version number including patches. You can find the version and Help, or File > Help depending on your version.
