Delete Glossary button from the Sidebar

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a way for deleting the Glossary button from the sidebar. I am using a HTML5 preset and Version 2022.1.188 of RoboHelp.

  1. I deleted the Glossary from the Glossary section (so it is empty at the moment)
  2. I deleted the icon from Templates > Sidebar

Still, the Glossary icon is displayed in the Sidebar and I don't have a clue about what to do next.

    Correct answer Amebr

In the Skin/Template, go to the Layout tab and toggle the Show Glossary slider. That should remove the tab from the HTML5 skin.

Is this now resolved? If not, please clarify.

Hi Peter, in my version, 2019.0.14, I do not have that option, mine looks like the screenshot below, but the glossary is still in the output.

Click the dropdown and select None again. Sounds silly but might work. Let us know.

That is in the skin editor. You have clipped the top of the images and I can't see which template (skin) you are using. In the skin editor of an HTML5 template there isn't an option to hide it. You can remove the image but it will just leave a gap. I am seeing more icons in this skin.

You can hide it in the two options I have given so it is not there for you when creating content or in outputs, just not in the skin editor.

That's what my first answer does. Can you show us a fuller image? Which template?

HTML5 Template. This is what normally happens in a project:

I'd like to delete the Glossary from the sidebar which appears as shown in this picture.

Following as I want to be able to do this as well: RH 2019.0.14 New UI

That looks like you mean in the RoboHelp UI rather than the Output. Correct?

If so go to Project Settings.

No, in this way the 'Glossary' tab only disappears in the Author view. The pic that I posted refers to the project post-Generate and what is seen is the sidebar.

In the preset click the Glossary dropdown and select None. It will still show as Select afterwards but that should fix it.

Yeah, following this suggestion it appears like this and I'd really like to make it disappear completely. Is there a way?
