Does RoboHelp Server store all data in the database and only code and templates on the web server?

Yes. What database depends on how the RoboHelp Server context has been setup. You can have a MS Jet database (not designed for a production environment, an SQL Server DB  or Oracle DB, See Recommended OS/database combinations for RoboHelp Server « Technical Communication Suite for further details.

Thank you for the quick reply. We need a setup where we keep our project data separate form the web server instance.

Just so we are clear, the RH content is published to the server. The analytics information is stored in the database that also resides on the same server.
