Dynamic Content Filter half working

Hi,

I am using:

- Robohelp 2020 (2020.7.46)

- Frameless preset for my output of the project

- Dynamic content filter with 18 options to choose from

Also, I assigned Condition Tags to each topic. Each topic has either 8 or 10 Conditional Tags assigned to it.

After generating output, some options in my Filter, when I click on them, they make my TOC responding weirdly. Basically, the TOC behaves randomly, sometimes showing the tagged topics, but sometimes not showing at all. I cannot see any pattern why this is happening.

Could you suggest something how to resolve this, please.

Thank you very much for checking that over for me.

There's a catch with applying tags to the TOC. The topics can still be found through a search, the index, cross topic links and so on.

Somehow I got this to work. I am not sure which one had biggest impact, but I have my favourite. Let me explain:

I cleared all conditional tags from my topics (to answer your question, I tag topics only (topic-level).

When I had my problem, I tagged my topic from Author > Contents > ...  > Apply Condition Tags, and this had some strange behaviour as I explained.

Accidently, I realised that I can apply tags by Author > Table of Contents > //select your TABLE OF CONTENTS// > ...  > Properties > CONDITION TAGS > Apply Tags, and this seems to be working quite fine so far.

Thanks for sending your comments. Have a nice rest of the day.

See if anything here helps. RH2020 Dynamic Content Filtering (grainge.org)

Are you only tagging topics and not content as well in the same topic? If both, that's covered in the link above.

    Come back if still stuck.
