Question

E-mail notification "new replies" does not lead to the appropriate text passage

  • April 8, 2024

The review can be carried out via the email notification 'Invitation'.

The text passage in question/to be corrected is not displayed via the 'New replies' mail notification. (Screen_2)

When we use the button "All responses" in the Mail from Adobe Creative Cloud it only leads to the review itself without any content. (Screen_3)

Is this something which will be fixed in future?

No. You should get different responses in which you see just that reviewer's comments. All I am saying is that clicking the link did let me see the responses as a workaround.

I have contacted someone and await a response.

Hey, sorry for the late response.

I took over this topic from Marc.
We still have this problem from time to time.

    Is there anything new?
Otherwise I would go to Adobe Support, as you described.

I revised the steps on my site after this thread started but I don't think it will help you.

The feature appears to be broken.

This is the email I got. It shows the comments you did make but I assume it would not show all. It does not tell me which topics so it is useless.

When I go to View All Comments, I get the same as you do. Again of no use.

Do you know the last time this was working?

I suggest for this one you need to go to Adobe Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

Depending on what they say, then report it as a bug. Please follow this link to report bugs or request new features. https://tracker.adobe.com. Post the link to your bug report / feature request in this thread and others can vote for it. The more people who do so, the higher it gets prioritised.

I will see if I can find out more but don't hold your breath.

I just found that by clicking the link I sent you, I get this screen. Does that work for you?

I am not following the problem as the screenshots are in German. Please explain in English.

Not that it matters in this instance but seeing an image inline with the text makes it easier for anyone answering or viewing the post. The photo icon makes it easier.

Hello Peter, we`re not able to change Outlook etc. to english language for this issue but i´ll explain in detail what the screenshots are showing.

In "Screen_2" the e-mail notification that there are new responses to a review from Robohelp is showed there.
Now when we click on the button in the e-mail which shows "All responses" we get to the review in "Screen_3"

Thew review opens in a browser.

Our "problem" is, that it is not showing the right spot of the review which the e-mail notification is mentioning. No comment is selected or highlighted and you can`t see the content in the main window. Just the "empty page" icon is visible.

Send me an email and I will set up a quick review to see what I get back when you comment. See the Contact page on my site.

What version of RH are you using? Have you had a look at Peter's site to see how the Review function works - https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/reviewing/reviewing.htm

The site of Peter Grainge is not helping us on that issue.
