Font in HTML 5 output from RoboHelp 2020.8.34

Question

Has anyone found a way to "embed" the font into HTML 5 output files? I have set it in my styles (and css style sheet), but on most machines I have to actually download and install the font that we're using (Montserrat) in Windows for it to display properly.

This is boggling my mind, because the same machines can properly display our company website, which is also asking for Montserrat.

Your corporate website may have used the font-face method described on Peter's site, but using a web font URL rather than a local font (e.g. https://my.font.site/fontname.ttf ). You should talk to the team that manages your website (or perhaps your communications team) about the font license and what the licensed link is.

To follow Peter's instructions to include the font file in the output, you must have a specific license to distribute a font that way; having the font on your PC is not a guarantee that you can upload fonts to a website (for example, you cannot legally upload Arial to a website, despite that font being on your Windows PC).
