Fonts change after spellcheck in WinHelp 2000

I have been working on a project originally created in WinHelp 3. After making changes and compiling all was good. I then went back and ran the Word spellcheck. After compiling again all my fonts changed to Times Roman. I deleted the .RTF file and re-compiled to no avail.
I have tried working with the Normal template and had no luck. I have also tried changing the styles.
What else could it be?

Looks like the workaround is to work at home. :-)

I certainly wouldn't try working off the network as that will only add to your troubles.

The place prefix is the equivalent problem for Word 2002 (XP) users so you shouldn't see that. Sorry I gave you the wrong link. Try this one.

I'm sorry I don't know the real solution at the moment other than uninstalling the patch. However, it is being looked at by Adobe as I type this so watch the other threads as they are the main ones.

Welcome to the forum.

You don't say what version of Word you are using. Look at this thread if you are using Word 2003.

Post back if that fixes it or you are not using Word 2003. (It might be looking at the placeCity font which applies to Word 2002 as it could have this effect as well I guess).

Please let us know the outcome either way. I am trying to collate information on this problem.

I am running Word 2003. I opened this project and compiled it on my home PC and it looked fine. I copied the files, brought it to work, compiled and opened and it looked fine. I then altered the topic ID's, compiled and opened and it had the times font again.
I then moved all my help files that i created on to the network so there were no help files on my PC. I then opened the 'good' project I had worked on at home, compiled, and it looked good. However after altering the topic ID'd again and compiling, it displayed the Times font again...
??
