Formatting a Footnote in RH, integrated from FM

I am using TCS. I have created a FM book with footnotes. When I import the FM book (by reference) into RH, I am unable to format the footnote. I can format the body level text, chapters, headings, cell body, cell heading, etc etc... but I don't seem able to format the footnote! Does anyone have any ideas?

So, in other words, if you're running TCS 1, unless you pay to upgrade to TCS 2, you won't receive this great new "feature". This oversight, bug, or whatever Adobe want's to call it should be fixed for TCS 1 users. Am I the only user annoyed with the fact that, after selling TCS 1 with its many bugs, Adobe releases TCS 2 instead of focusing on fixing the issues with TCS 1?

Using the Preserve Modifications option is not helpful. If you make a change to the source document that you want to apply to RH (and in most cases, you'll want to make all of your changes in the source document), you'll need to disable this option. In other words, when you use the Preserve Modifications option, you lose any single-sourcing capability thereafter.

I don't know about anyone else, but I purchased TCS 1 for its single-sourcing capability. Why would I want to disable it?

Yes, I also noticed this issue (along with many others) and have simply accepted the default footnote format used after importing the FM files into my RH project.

Ok- thanks for the information. I guess I will just accept the default footnote for now... I agree though, I do hope this is corrected in a very-soon-to-be-available patch for TCS 1 users.

For TCS 1
By "Formatting" I understand you are talking about "Style Mapping". TCS1(RH7) allows only the style mapping of paragraph text content. Inorder to format footnote style, the generated CSS may be edited to format the footnote style. And "Preserve Modifications for these files" check box should be checked ON for the CSS file so that it is not overwritted on further updates of the linked FM file.
For TCS 2
TCS 2(RH8) allows the footnote style to be formatted like any other paragraph style. It can be edited from "Conversion Settings" dialog under "Project Settings"
