Hi,

I'm using RoboHelp 10 and am trying to generate a printed document based on my project.  When I try and go to File>Generate>PDF Output, the option is greyed out.  Then when I try and generate a printed document, I get the message that "Miscrosoft Word is Not Installed".

Please Help!

Thanks.

What version of Word do you have installed?

Are you on network where the administrators have your normal.dot file on a network drive rather than local?

Have you opened the version of Word you have? Asking in case this is a new machine where you have not yet used Word.

I have Word 2013 & Acrobat X Pro installed.

My normal.dotm file is located locally at "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\normal.dotm"

I had word prior to installing RoboHelp 10 & used/still use it pretty frequently.

First Word 2013 is not supported. There is a workaround. Go to the SSL pod and right click the Properties. The other ways of generating will not work, that one will.

Not sure about the PDF when you use that method with Rh10 / Word 2013 Acrobat X. You can always generate the PDF from Word though. That will still work.

You will not be able to import Word documents. No workaround for that. You can have both 2010 and 2013 installed. Then you just need to run 2010 before you do anything in Rh that is Word related.
