Generate PDFs

How do I generate a PDF from an HTML project. I'm able to print the individual topics to Acrobat Distiller, but our customers are wanting to generate the whole project.

Hi there

Try looking in the Single Source Layouts recipe box. You should find a "Printed Documentation" layout there. Edit the properties of that layout and you should see that you can create a PDF. RoboHelp will first create a Microsoft Word document, then it will create a PDF from that document.

The “Generate Adobe PDF” option is not accessible.

If you open the resultant Microsoft Word document, are you able to generate a PDF from that? If not, that's likely the issue. The PC needs some ability to create PDFs.

If it were earlier in the day, my colleague Peter Grainge would likely be able to pop in and advise. But I suspect he's in bed by now.
