Question

Generate RoboHelp 8 to WORD and not straight to PDF

Is there any way to generate/publish the output from Robhelp to Printed Documentation for WORD? I need to edit the WORD documentation (for things I do not want in the help system), but I can only seem to publish within PDF.

Can this be done? or can it only be published into PDF? I have read that it does create the word docs and publish to pdf and trashes the word doc, can I get to that before it "trashes"?

Thanks!

Allison

The answer to not having a Printed Documentation layout is to create one.

Right click Layout and you will see what to do then.

Take a look at the first page of the print layout wizard. Turn off PDF and that should turn on Word.
