Generating PDF output using Robo Help 11 without any formatting issues?

Hello All,

I am trying to generate Printed documentation output in word and PDF. The output is generated, but it includes so many formatting issues. I don't know how to create documentation output without any further work needed. Could you please help me in doing this?

Thank you in advance

Sahitya

The first point to make is that unless you are very lucky, some formatting

is inevitable. Page breaks are an obvious example as HTML pages simply

print and break wherever, you can half an image on one page and half on the

next or you might get a heading at the end of a page and the following

paragraph on the next.

With that understood there are things you can do to minimise the work. You

can put a page break into the HTML code but that requires previewing the

page printed and deciding where to put them. Then next update you add a

sentence completely messing up where you need page breaks, getting the

idea?

You haven't said what formatting issues you are having and it may simply be

styles. You can either use a different CSS for print or you can map to a

Word template. Give more information and I can perhaps be more specific.

See Printed Documentation on my site for a tutorial on the subject.
