Is there any way from RoboHelp 7 to have a link go directly to the glossary?

I have a request to point directly to a glossary that was built in RoboHelp 7 HTML.

Can this be done? It's like a .glo file, isn't it?

Hi there

It seems you missed my point. The point being to ask what exactly you are trying to do!

You can create a Glossary topic and link to it. Nothing special about that as the Glossary is simply another topic in your project.

RoboHelp HTML does allow you to create a Glossary that is displayed as a Tab in a Compiled CHM file, or inside a panel when you click a Glossary Button from a Skin in your WebHelp or FlashHelp output.

Sorry, saying "RoboHelp HTML 7" is a bit like saying I want to cook some eggs and I have this frying pan. We need to know what kind of eggs? Scrambled? An omelet? Fried?

If you are creating a CHM, there likely isn't much you can do. If you are creating WebHelp or FlashHelp, there may be something. For those, I've documented how to open different panels in my Skinny on Skins file. You may download it at the link below:

Hi there

Which Glossary?

* A glossary page you created?

* The glossary panel in WebHelp?

* The glossary panel in FlashHelp?

* The glossary tab in a compiled CHM?

* An internet or intranet glossary?
