HHActiveX.dll 32 and 64-bit

Hi 🙂

I did search, but did not find an answer...


I am using the latest version of RoboHelp, appropriately patched.

There are two HHActiveX.dlls in the Redistribute folder, one for  32 and 64-bit.

Will registering the 64-bit on a 32-bit system work, or do I have to register the 32-bit for a 32-bit system?

Hi Cara,

If you have a 32 machine then you should :

1. Click the Windows Start button, then select Run.

2.Type the following into the Run dialog:

     regsvr32 C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML HHActivex.dll (specify the path of the HHActiveX.DLL)

for a 64 bit machine the path would become  -- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\Redist\x64
