HHC3004 Warning

Question

The HTML compiler throws the HHC3004 error - saying that tags are just wild strings of characters. So, I've changed my output path to a network drive which does not have my last name (the dreaded .h phenomenon). However, the resulting .chm has no content except my table of contents and the index.

Do you think I have to change the location of my entire project to a drive which doesn't use my last name?

Hello againIn addition to what I advised earlier, I noticed you mention using a Network drive for your project? That's a huge no-no and is fraught with all manner of issues. You really need to seriously consider moving your project to your local drive and working from there.Working from a network location is similar to baking a batch of cookies in the following way:The recipe says to mix the dough in a bowl. You get in your vehicle, drive to a warehouse, fetch a bowl and drive home.The recipe says to add flour. You get in your vehicle, drive to the store, purchase flour, drive home and place the flour into the bowl.The recipe says to add eggs. You get in your vehicle...See how crazy that would be? That's why working on projects over networks is a bad thing. And for what it's worth, I noticed the other day that the same recommendation applies to Microsoft PowerPoint. (Just in case you thought it was a RoboHelp specific thing)Cheers...
