We are wanting to host the help website on a on a sub url of our main site. How can you change the root relative path for the entire site to say /help?

You generate an output locally in the same way as any other output. Then either:-

    • You zip that up and give it to your developers. They unzip it to wherever they want it.
    • You publish the generated output to where the developers want it.

After that the developers create a URL to wherever the help has been saved. Your start page will be index.htm and the URL has to include that because it is not the main index page on the site.

My main site is not a RoboHelp output but all it is doing is calling the index.htm page of the help, the same as it would any other page on your site. Once the help is open, it works as normal.

What output are you creating and what version of RoboHelp are you using?

That's what I am using for the tour so you should be fine. Can you be specific about what isn't working?

The RoboHelp Tour is a complete RoboHelp output that sits within my main site. Click the link below to go to the RoboHelp Tour and you will see it opens the help.

    https://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/introduction/introduction.htm

On my main site there is a link to it.

You simply create a hyperlink on you main site pointing to wherever the help output sits.

That's exactly what we wanting to do but how did you get the URL to be a sub-site of the main site?
