How Do I Create Timestamps in Topics?

Question

I use RoboHelp 8 and produce WebHelp. I would like to have a timestamp (date & time) automatically placed at the end on my topics when I generate the help. So, on the days I generate the help, that date & time would be stamped at end of topics. Is this possible? If so, how do I accomplish it?

Hi thereEdit your topic and position the insertion point where you want the timestamp.Click Insert > Fields and Variables and a dialog should be presented. From there, choose the manner in which you wish to see the information presented.You will likely want to clear the option to Auto-update the field.Cheers...
