Question

How do you change the version control source on a SP linked project?

Our SharePoint admin recently changed the url of our SP farm and I need to change the version control source in our (multiple) RH projects. Is their a way to repoint our RH project SP connection to all the master content that is simply in a different location?

Best I've been able to do is disconnect a copy of the project and recreate the version control link from scratch (thereby removing the last couple months of versioning)

Thanks,

Found where the source control location can be controlled in the .xpj file.

Using RH10 with a connection to SP2013

Fix:

- make .xpj file writable (right click, permissions, 'read only' check-box)

- open .xpj using notepad/dreamweaver etc.

- located the vc::database reference and change the value (represented as a url/path below the command) accordingly

- save file

- make .xpj read only again (for some reason when it wasn't read only it crashed out RH?)
