How RoboHelp, RoboHelp server and Adobe AIR are related and work in single project

I can understand the benefits and how these tools are used. Now i want to understand how there are interlinked. The steps to publish RoboHelp output file to RoboHelp server is fine. How Adobe AIR can be intergrated. is real-time feedback is enabled without adobe AIR?

RoboHelp Server support only the Pro versions of WebHelp and FlashHelp (the latter being less popular now).

Adobe AIR outputs are not supported on RoboHelp Server. Note also that there have been no updates to AIR functionality within RoboHelp in the last two versions.

For information on how RoboHelp Server information is obtained, it might be better to ask a specific question in that forum.
