Question

How to copy Output Presets and Templates from one project to another?

I duplicated project by copying the entire folder contents. When I opened up the new one the Output Presets and templates were missing. So I went back to the original, selected the output preset and selected view in folder, but couldn't find it.

What file do I have to either copy or import to get the exact same settings in the duplicate?

Thanks in advance.

Copying the root folder (the one with the rhpj file) does copy everything, I do it regularly.

Presets are a bit different. The settings will get copied but Show in Explorer will take you to the generated output, rather than the settings. However, copy the project and the settings will come across. In a copied project, I double clicked a preset and the settings were correct.

It seems like something went wrong with the copy process. Any source control involved?

    Hi Peter,

Yeah, I thought it would works, as that's the "way" to copy projects. I'm working on a secure remote network, but my project is stored locally on my laptop.

    Take care
