How to display a TOC pane on a Context-Sensitive Topic for CHM

I have created a CHM file via the Generate CHM from WebHelp function. Everything, including the context-sensitive elements works as planned.

However, when a topic is called from the application via the F1 key, the topic appears in a window that does not contain a TOC pane.

Is there any way to display the TOC on individual topic windows?

Thanks-

Lauren

I'm not Jeff, so hope it's okay to answer.

Open the Project Settings.(press Ctrl+Shift+? to do that). Then from the General tab, click the Advanced button.

Depending on your version, the tab you want will read LNG File or Labels. Click that tab and scroll the long list to the section reading [Common].

In that section you should see Show=Show. Just double-click it (you may need to click it to select it and click the Edit button) and change it to read Show=Show TOC.

Once you have done that, click OK to dismiss the dialogs and re-generate to see the result.

Cheers... Rick

That’s what a CSH (F1) help call is supposed to do – you can include a “show” link that launches the full help at that topic if you want

Jeff, is there a way to change "Show" to "Show TOC" or something similar?
