Dear users, here is another challenge for you!

I am currently using Robohelp 2022.4.179 version and I don't know how to reduce the font size of my definition that appears in my pop-up. Here is an example:

Do you have any idea where I can find this option ?

Best wishes,

    I have now tested the change and it works fine.

    Rather than amending layoutdiff.css I have suggested on my site what I think is a better solution. See Item 33 in RoboHelp Gems

    Adobe have advised me you should add this to layoutdiff.css. Change .8rem to whatever unit of measurement you want.

    .rh-popover {

      font-size: .8rem;

    }

    I haven't had a chance to test it but I'm sure it will be OK.

    Have you tried the tooltip option. There the user hovers over the glossary term rather than clicking on it. The font size is better.

    So far I have been unable to find anything that changes it.

    If Edge is the issue, it would be different in other browsers but I very much doubt that is it.

    I suggest for this one you need to go to Adobe Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

    Please let us know what they come back with.

    I think, without checking, it would normally be the normal <p> tag style. What is the style of the text behind the popup?

    UPDATE Ignore that. It does come up larger than <p> tag.

    Check the layoutdiff.css that is located in your project folder/publish/skins/"your template name" and maybe edit the font of the .RH-LAYOUT-GLOSSARY-definition.  I'd start there if it were me.  Good luck.

    Hello !

    I checked the layoutdiff.css and the .RH-LAYOUT-GLOSSARY-definition as you recommended. It still doesn't work I think, here is the result:

     And the result when it is generated

    Dou you any ideas ? I am totally lost.

    Did you actually make any changes to those definitions? Did the changes have any effect? If not, then you know that bit of CSS wasn't being referenced.

    Have a look in the HTML to see how it's defined, then check the css being used to figure out how it's being styled.

    Hi Jeff_Coatsworth,

    I checked how it is designed and I checked my css, it seems correct to me !

    I am currently using Microsoft Edge, and I was wondering if Microsoft Edge's css overrides mine? And if so, is it possible to work around it?

    Do you think it could be

    I wasn't suggesting looking for "correctness" - I was talking about identifying what's going on with the definition at that point. Did you confirm that it's actually using the definitions & CSS that @OLDJenniferDONTUSE pointed out?
