Question

how to use same project, different language

hello,

I have a project that I converted from an older version of robohelp.

everything looks like it's in place.

I have conditional tags and I have created different single source layouts (printed documentation , html, etc)

I would like to use the same project but translate it into another language (Spanish)

what is the best way to do that?

should I create a new project from scratch and just change the default language to Spanish?

or what would you suggest?

thanks

  1. Create a copy of the project using File Explorer.
  2. Name the new folder whatever you want.
  3. Open the copy and rename it.
  4. Change the default language to Spanish.
  5. Select all the topics in the Topic List and right click. In Properties make sure no other language is shown. If it is, change the language to Spanish.
  6. Get on with translation.
