Question

.HTML as output file extension

Hi Experts,

I am new to RH. I am using RH7 for creating a web based context-sensetive help system. But somehow my server doesn't render .HTM files (and unfortunately that can't be fixed). Now my question is:

" Can I configure RoboHelp project in such a way that it gives .HTML files as output?".

Thanks in advance.

Regards

What's the rationale for .htm only, I wonder rhetorically aloud.

Rick has already stated, this is not an option.

Hi Dipz

The short answer here is no.

As a side note, I've never heard of a Web server that is incapable of serving .HTM files. Are you perhaps being ill advised by an overly persnickety Web Admin?

Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the reply. Actually the server is well capable of parsing .HTM files but we are using .HTM extension for some other purposes. And the project is big enough. Now at this phase of the project if I change the mapping of the .HTM extension; that will cost me pretty badly. That's why I said in my post that

Hope the situation is clear to you now.

Expecting a solution from the experts.
