Hyperlinks and source control in Robohelp 2020

Hello,

I'm having difficulty with creating hyperlinks between multiple child projects. There doesnt seem to be a common issue. It's just happening randomly. I can create the hyperlink BUT I am not able to check it in and sometimes I get the Application Error message in the corner asking me to restart Robohelp.

When I restart, I am still unable to check in the links.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Are you creating you cross project links in the way described in the merged help topics on my site? I can't see how you create them affects checkin as source control doesn't check their validity but who knows. I think this is a general source control issue and the links are a red herring.

Had the issue been just links I would have explored the code but it is clearly a general issue with source control, which I cannot help you with. I will change the post title as it may help grab more attention.

With any issue, check for updates. I'll assume you are on 2020.6.

You make it sound as if you change some text in a topic you can check it back into source control but you can't if the change is to add a hyperlink. Is that the case or do you mean Save rather than check in.

This is not an issue I have seen in over twenty years of using RoboHelp.

@Peter Grainge  correct. Our work has been in Robohelp for a number of years so its been through a variety of upgrades. In the most recent upgrade, we've noticed that some .html files didnt transfer over properly and they hyperlinks issue I described above.

I can save without issue but I cannot check it into source control. .

I've tried creating new workspaces, importing htmls, upgrading the project again, and still no luck.
