Identifying text changes

Is there a way in Robohelp to identify text changes in a file from one release to another (like Rev bars?). We are looking to purchase Robohelp and this feature is important.

I missed that this post is in the RH for Word, apologies. However, it doesn't much affect the answer. You would need to take a copy of the underlying document before and after and use the Compare feature.

Describe to me how that would differ from the Revision bar. Maybe it will prompt some idea.

You say that Word is not a robust tool but you are using RH for Word. Egh?

Welcome to the forum.

There's no equivalent of Word's Track Changes and I think that is true of most HATs. However, you can easily set up a Printed Documentation output to generate a Word version of each release. Then you could use Word to highlight the differences.

There may be other utilities to do that but nobody is posting, hence this suggestion.

Hi, Peter - what I am looking for is something along the line of a revision bar, not changing color....I used that feature when I had Interleaf/quicksilver....unfortuantely Word is not a very robust tool for large documents.
