Import HTML Topic to RoboHelp 2022

In the past I've been able to import HTML topics to RH2022 and updating the css. Is it possible to replace current HTML topics with news ones and then import them? When I try, it appears to work; however, after making small changes I get an Error - failed to save file message when I try to save.

@LisaLederer I think you have answered your own question. I interpret Import HTML Topic as meaning one that has compliant coding. 2017 didn't. I can't say for sure I am right but if I was hitting the issue you are, I think I would simply upgrade the 2017 project for the purposes of importing like this. You can still work on the old copy in 2017 if you need to.

You're probably better upgrading the Classic RH2017 project first and then importing the desired topics into the other RH2022 project (assuming that one is either new or an upgraded version too).

Are you trying to import old topics from 2017 into a 2022 project? Are these one off imports or are you wanting to upgrade a whole project?

It's not clear what your workflow is.

Thanks, Peter. Yes, I'm curious if it is possible to import a one-off topic that was created in the previous 2017 version. There is a command in 2022 to import HTML topics. When I imported one, I get the failed error message when I try saving the project. Appreciate any suggestions.

Are you using some sort of source control to store project files? You're not importing output HTML files into your source RH project are you?

Yes, we have a server for version contol and these are not output files, bur files created in RH2017.
