Importing a PDF as a PDF

Ok, call me crazy but with the integration of Macromedia & Adobe, I find it funny that I can't seem to find a way to import a PDF as a PDF document in a RoboHelp Project.

There is an "Import PDF" option, but instead of doing what I would like it to do, simply copy the PDF file to the project directory and allow me to make links to it, it instead creates an HTML topic and tries it's best maintain the formatting. Unfortunatly, the formatting of the document it creates is a far fetch from the original PDF.

I would much rather keep the PDF I have and rig a way so it copies over with each translation.

...any ideas ?

(Note - I do not have the orignal Word document.)

    Hi tswaters1

This is where you would use the Baggage Files option. Try right clicking the Baggage Files folder and adding your .PDF file there. Then you should be able to easily link to it.

    Cheers... Rick
